Standard, ready-made products; and
Custom-made, personalised or made-to-order products.
Certain products may be manufactured specifically according to a customer’s selected dimensions, colours, fabrics, artwork, printing or other specifications.
Where different terms apply to a customised product, those terms will be communicated before or during the ordering process.
3. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You may use the Kidsrock website for lawful personal and commercial shopping purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the website;

- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
- Place fraudulent orders or use payment methods without authorisation.
Kidsrock reserves the right to restrict access to the website where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud or unlawful activity.
4. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Kidsrock makes reasonable efforts to ensure that product information displayed on our website is accurate.
Product descriptions may include information relating to:
- Dimensions;
- Materials;
- Colours;
- Fabrics;
- Finishes;
- Features;
- Recommended uses;
- Assembly requirements; and
- Product images.
Customers should carefully review the product description before placing an order.
If an exact measurement or specification is important to you, please contact Kidsrock before ordering.
5. PRODUCT IMAGES AND COLOUR REPRESENTATION
We make reasonable efforts to present product images accurately.
However, the appearance of colours may differ depending on:
- Mobile phone screens;
- Computer monitors;
- Screen settings;
- Lighting conditions;
- Photography;
- Fabric batches;
- Printing processes; and
- Natural variations in materials.
Minor colour or texture variations that arise from these factors do not necessarily mean that a product is defective.
For custom-made products, customers are responsible for carefully confirming selected colours, fabrics, artwork and other specifications before production begins.
6. PRODUCT DIMENSIONS
Product measurements displayed on our website are intended to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Where furniture is handmade or upholstered, minor manufacturing tolerances may occur.
Before purchasing furniture, customers should check:
- Room dimensions;
- Door widths;
- Passage widths;
- Staircases;
- Lifts;
- Gates; and
- Other access points.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered product can reasonably be delivered into the intended premises unless Kidsrock has expressly agreed to conduct an access assessment.
7. PRICES
All prices displayed on the Kidsrock website are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).
Prices displayed at checkout will indicate the amount payable for the selected products.
Where applicable, delivery charges or other clearly disclosed charges will be displayed or communicated before completion of the order.
Kidsrock may change product prices from time to time.
A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where there has been an obvious pricing error.
8. PRICING AND WEBSITE ERRORS
While we take reasonable care to keep our website accurate, errors may occasionally occur.
These may include:
- Incorrect prices;
- Incorrect product descriptions;
- Incorrect stock information;
- Typographical errors; or
- Technical errors.
If we identify an obvious error after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, the customer will be given the option to proceed with the corrected information or cancel the order for a refund.
Kidsrock will not deliberately advertise products at misleading prices.
9. PLACING AN ORDER
Products may be ordered through the Kidsrock website or through another purchasing method expressly offered by Kidsrock.
Before submitting an online order, customers should review:
- Products selected;
- Quantities;
- Product options;
- Delivery information;
- Contact information;
- Pricing; and
- Payment information.
Customers should correct any errors before finalising the order.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
10. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that Kidsrock has accepted the order.
After receiving an order, we may send an order acknowledgement or payment confirmation.
An order is accepted once Kidsrock confirms acceptance, commences fulfilment or dispatches the product, depending on the circumstances.
Kidsrock may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- A product is unavailable;
- Payment cannot be verified;
- Fraud is suspected;
- An obvious pricing error has occurred;
- Delivery cannot reasonably be completed; or
- A customised order cannot reasonably be manufactured.
If Kidsrock cancels an order after receiving payment and no product has been supplied, the applicable amount paid will be refunded.
11. STOCK AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
A product appearing on our website does not guarantee that it will remain available.
If a product becomes unavailable after payment has been received, Kidsrock will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and offer an appropriate alternative, back-order arrangement where agreed, or refund.
We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement.
12. PAYMENT
Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout or communicated to the customer before payment.
Payment may be processed through third-party payment service providers.
Customers must provide accurate billing and payment information.
Kidsrock will never intentionally request a customer’s online banking password or PIN.
Orders may be held until payment has been successfully confirmed.
13. PAYMENT SECURITY
Kidsrock takes reasonable steps to use secure payment processes appropriate to online transactions.
Where payments are processed through an external payment gateway, payment information may be processed directly by that provider in accordance with its security and privacy procedures.
Customers are responsible for protecting their personal passwords, devices and account information.
14. CUSTOM-MADE AND PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
Certain Kidsrock products are produced according to customer specifications.
Examples may include:
- Custom furniture dimensions;
- Selected upholstery fabrics;
- Selected colours;
- Personalised names or text;
- Custom printing;
- Custom bedding;
- Custom artwork; and
- Products manufactured specifically for an individual order.
Before production begins, the customer is responsible for checking and approving the relevant specifications.
Once production of a customised or clearly personalised product has commenced, the order may not qualify for a change-of-mind cancellation.
This does not affect a customer’s legal rights where a custom product is defective, damaged, incorrectly manufactured or materially different from the approved specifications.
15. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ARTWORK AND PERSONALISATION
Where a customer supplies artwork, wording, logos, names, photographs or other content for use on a personalised product, the customer confirms that they have the necessary right or permission to use that material.
The customer is responsible for checking:
- Spelling;
- Names;
- Dates;
- Numbers;
- Artwork;
- Colours;
- Dimensions; and
- Other personalised information
before final approval.
Kidsrock will manufacture customised products based on the approved information supplied by the customer.
16. LEAD TIMES
Lead times may differ between standard and customised products.
Estimated manufacturing or dispatch times will be displayed on the website or communicated to the customer where applicable.
Custom furniture may require additional production time.
Where a specific production or delivery period has been agreed with the customer, that agreed period will apply.
Kidsrock will notify the customer where a material delay becomes known.
17. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Kidsrock delivers to locations within South Africa, subject to delivery availability.
Delivery costs may vary according to:
- Delivery location;
- Product size;
- Product weight;
- Quantity;
- Courier requirements; and
- Whether special handling is required.
Applicable delivery costs will be displayed or communicated before the customer completes the purchase where reasonably possible.
Further information is contained in the Kidsrock Shipping & Delivery Policy.
18. DELIVERY ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
This includes, where applicable:
- Street number;
- Street name;
- Suburb;
- City or town;
- Province;
- Postal code;
- Complex or unit number;
- Access instructions; and
- Correct contact details.
Kidsrock is not responsible for delays resulting solely from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.
Additional delivery charges caused by an incorrect address may be charged where reasonably incurred and disclosed.
19. DELIVERY OF LARGE FURNITURE
Large furniture items may require specialised delivery arrangements.
The customer must ensure that there is reasonable access to the delivery location.
Where an item cannot fit through a doorway, gate, passage, staircase or other access point despite the correct product dimensions having been disclosed before purchase, additional delivery or redelivery costs may apply.
Our delivery teams are not required to remove doors, windows, security gates, railings or building structures unless Kidsrock has expressly agreed to provide such a service.
20. RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
Where reasonably possible, customers should inspect their order upon or shortly after delivery.
If a product appears damaged, incorrect or incomplete, please contact Kidsrock promptly at:
Customers are encouraged to provide photographs of the product and packaging where damage is visible.
21. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by the separate Kidsrock Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy available on our website.
For eligible standard online purchases, a statutory cooling-off right may apply.
Custom-made or clearly personalised products may be excluded from the ordinary change-of-mind cooling-off right where permitted by law.
These restrictions do not remove statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.

22. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND WARRANTY RIGHTS
Kidsrock intends to supply goods that are reasonably suitable for their intended purpose, of acceptable quality and free from defects as required by applicable consumer legislation.
Where a product qualifies as failed, unsafe or defective under applicable law, the customer may have statutory remedies including repair, replacement or refund.
For qualifying defective goods, statutory rights may apply for a period of six months after delivery.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits a customer’s statutory rights.
23. PRODUCT CARE AND MISUSE
Customers should use and care for products according to the product’s intended purpose and any care instructions supplied.
A defect or damage arising solely because a product has been:
- Misused;
- Abused;
- Neglected;
- Incorrectly assembled;
- Modified;
- Exposed to inappropriate conditions;
- Used beyond its intended purpose; or
- Altered contrary to instructions
may not qualify as an inherent product defect.
This provision does not limit rights relating to genuine manufacturing defects or other statutory consumer protections.
24. CHILDREN’S PRODUCTS AND SUPERVISION
Kidsrock supplies products intended for use by children, but parents, guardians and responsible adults remain responsible for appropriate supervision.
Products should be:
- Used for their intended purpose;
- Assembled correctly;
- Positioned on appropriate surfaces;
- Regularly checked for loose or damaged components; and
- Used in accordance with any age, weight or safety recommendations provided.
Where assembly instructions are supplied, they should be followed carefully.
25. ASSEMBLY
Some Kidsrock products may require assembly.
Where a customer assembles a product themselves, assembly instructions should be followed.
If an optional assembly service is available, the applicable charge and service conditions will be disclosed separately.
Customers should not modify structural components of children’s furniture unless the modification has been approved by Kidsrock or appropriately qualified persons.
26. PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES
From time to time Kidsrock may offer:
- Promotional pricing;
- Discount codes;
- Coupons;
- Bundles;
- Sale items; or
- Limited-time offers.
Promotions may have specific conditions and expiry dates.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
- Only valid codes may be applied;
- A promotion may not be combined with another promotion where expressly stated; and
- Promotional stock may be limited.
Consumer rights relating to defective products continue to apply to sale and promotional products.
27. GIFT CARDS OR STORE CREDITS
If Kidsrock introduces gift cards, vouchers or store credits, any applicable terms, validity periods and usage requirements will be disclosed when they are offered.
Nothing in this section overrides mandatory consumer protection requirements.
28. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Kidsrock does not control every aspect of those third-party services.
Customers should review the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policies where appropriate.
A link to another website does not necessarily mean that Kidsrock endorses every statement, product or service offered on that website.

- Process orders;
- Take payments;
- Arrange deliveries;
- Respond to enquiries;

32. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
Kidsrock aims to keep the website available and functional.
However, uninterrupted access cannot always be guaranteed because of:
- Maintenance;
- Internet outages;
- Hosting issues;
- Third-party systems;
- Security incidents; or
- Other technical circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Kidsrock may temporarily suspend or modify website functionality where reasonably necessary.
33. FRAUD PREVENTION
Kidsrock may carry out reasonable verification procedures where a transaction appears unusual or potentially fraudulent.
An order may be placed on hold while payment or customer information is reasonably verified.
Kidsrock reserves the right to decline a transaction where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, unauthorised payment activity or unlawful conduct.
34. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by South African law.
Subject to applicable law, Kidsrock will not be responsible for loss arising solely from:
- Customer misuse of products;
- Failure to follow care or assembly instructions;
- Unauthorised product modifications;
- Incorrect information supplied by the customer; or
- Circumstances beyond Kidsrock’s reasonable control.
Any limitation in these Terms & Conditions must be interpreted subject to the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable legislation.

Kidsrock will not be responsible for a delay caused by circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented or controlled.
Examples may include:
- Severe weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Civil disruption;
- Transport interruptions;
- Supplier interruptions;
- Widespread power or communications failures; or
- Other comparable circumstances.
Where such an event materially affects an order, Kidsrock will communicate with the customer and seek a reasonable solution.

- Our business;
- Website functionality;
- Products;
