Last updated: 17 September 2026

At Kidsrock, we aim to deliver your order safely and within the estimated delivery period communicated when you place your order.

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to purchases made through www.kidsrockgroup.co.za and should be read together with our:

  • Terms & Conditions
  • Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy
  • Privacy Policy

Kidsrock currently delivers within South Africa.

1. DELIVERY AREAS

Kidsrock delivers to physical addresses throughout South Africa, subject to courier and delivery-service availability.

Delivery is available to:

  • Gauteng
  • Limpopo
  • Mpumalanga
  • North West
  • Free State
  • KwaZulu-Natal
  • Eastern Cape
  • Western Cape
  • Northern Cape

Certain rural, remote, farm or outlying areas may require additional delivery time or may attract an additional delivery charge.

If we are unable to deliver to the address provided, Kidsrock will contact you before dispatch.

2. DELIVERY OPTIONS

Depending on the product, delivery location and size of the order, Kidsrock may use:

  • Standard courier delivery;
  • Specialised furniture delivery;
  • Local delivery;
  • Third-party transport providers; or
  • Customer collection from our store.

The available method will depend on the nature and size of the product.

Large furniture cannot always be shipped using a standard parcel courier.

3. STANDARD PRODUCTS

For standard products that are in stock, Kidsrock generally requires approximately:

Order processing / handling: 1–4 business days

After dispatch, estimated courier transit times are generally:

Main metropolitan areas: approximately 3–6 business days

Regional and outlying areas: approximately 4–8 business days

These periods are estimates and may vary depending on the customer’s location, courier service and circumstances outside Kidsrock’s reasonable control.

Where a different delivery period is displayed on a product page or communicated before purchase, that delivery period will apply.

4. LARGE AND BULKY FURNITURE

Large products such as:

  • Beds;
  • Toddler beds;
  • Storage beds;
  • Chairs;
  • Ottomans;
  • Large play furniture;
  • Cabinets; and
  • Other bulky furniture

may require specialised furniture transport.

These products may therefore have different delivery charges and delivery periods from smaller products.

Where specialised delivery is required, the applicable cost will either:

  • Be displayed during checkout;
  • Be calculated according to the delivery location; or
  • Be confirmed with the customer before the order is dispatched.

Kidsrock will contact the customer where delivery arrangements need to be confirmed.

5. CUSTOM-MADE AND MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Certain Kidsrock products are manufactured specifically for the customer.

Examples include:

  • Custom furniture;
  • Furniture made to selected dimensions;
  • Selected upholstery colours or fabrics;
  • Personalised furniture;
  • Custom-printed products;
  • Custom bedding; and
  • Other made-to-order products.

Custom products require manufacturing time before they can be dispatched.

The estimated production period will be displayed on the applicable product page, quotation, order confirmation or otherwise communicated to the customer before or after the order is confirmed.

A typical made-to-order product may require approximately 7–21 business days for production, depending on the product and specifications.

Delivery time begins after manufacturing has been completed and the product is ready for dispatch.

Where a different manufacturing period has specifically been agreed with the customer, the agreed period will apply.

6. DELIVERY TIME = PROCESSING + TRANSIT

Customers should note that total delivery time consists of two separate periods:

Processing or handling time

This is the time Kidsrock requires to:

  • Confirm the order;
  • Confirm payment;
  • Prepare the product;
  • Package the product; and
  • Hand the product to the delivery provider.

Transit time

This is the period from when the delivery provider receives the product until it reaches the customer’s delivery address.

For custom-made products, manufacturing time must also be added before the handling and transit periods begin.

7. BUSINESS DAYS

For the purposes of this policy, business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.

Orders placed after business hours, over a weekend or on a public holiday will normally begin processing on the next business day.

8. DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges depend on factors including:

  • Delivery location;
  • Product dimensions;
  • Product weight;
  • Quantity ordered;
  • Packaging requirements;
  • Courier charges; and
  • Whether specialised furniture delivery is required.

Where possible, the applicable delivery charge will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

For certain oversized, unusually heavy or specialised furniture orders, Kidsrock may need to confirm the delivery charge separately.

No additional delivery charge will be imposed after an order is placed without informing the customer where the charge materially changes the agreed total.

9. SHIPPING COSTS AND GOOGLE SHOPPING

Where Kidsrock products are advertised through Google Shopping or Google Merchant Center, the shipping costs and estimated delivery periods submitted to Google will be maintained as accurately as reasonably possible and should correspond with the delivery information provided on the Kidsrock website.

Where individual products require different shipping arrangements because they are large, heavy or fragile, different delivery rates and times may apply to those products.

10. FREE DELIVERY PROMOTIONS

From time to time Kidsrock may offer free delivery on selected:

  • Products;
  • Orders;
  • Locations;
  • Promotions; or
  • Minimum order values.

Any conditions applying to free delivery will be displayed with the relevant promotion.

Free delivery does not automatically apply to all Kidsrock products unless expressly stated.

Large or specialised furniture may be excluded from a free-delivery promotion where this is clearly disclosed.

11. STORE COLLECTION

Customers may collect eligible orders from:

Kidsrock
Silvermall, Shop 33
Pretoria Road
Silverton
0184
South Africa

There is no delivery charge for approved store collections.

Customers should wait until Kidsrock confirms that the order is ready for collection before travelling to the store.

For custom-made items, collection will only be available after production has been completed.

Customers may be requested to provide:

  • Their order number;
  • Proof of purchase; and
  • Reasonable identification.

If another person is collecting on behalf of the customer, Kidsrock may request prior confirmation from the customer.

12. LARGE FURNITURE — ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Before ordering large furniture, customers must ensure that the product can reasonably be delivered into the intended premises.

Please check:

  • Door widths;
  • Entrance gates;
  • Passages;
  • Staircases;
  • Lifts;
  • Corners;
  • Security gates; and
  • Room access.

Product dimensions should be reviewed before ordering.

Kidsrock and its delivery providers are not responsible for removing:

  • Doors;
  • Windows;
  • Security gates;
  • Railings;
  • Walls; or
  • Other permanent building structures

in order to complete a delivery.

If a product cannot reasonably fit through the available access despite the supplied product dimensions being correct, redelivery or additional transport charges may apply.

13. DELIVERY TO COMPLEXES, ESTATES AND SECURE BUILDINGS

Customers who live or work in:

  • Security estates;
  • Apartment buildings;
  • Shopping centres;
  • Office complexes;
  • Gated communities; or
  • Other controlled-access properties

must provide any relevant access instructions.

This may include:

  • Unit number;
  • Gate code;
  • Security procedures;
  • Delivery entrance;
  • Contact person; and
  • Delivery restrictions.

Kidsrock is not responsible for delays resulting solely from access information that was not provided by the customer.

14. CORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

The address should include, where applicable:

  • Street number;
  • Street name;
  • Suburb;
  • Town or city;
  • Province;
  • Postal code;
  • Complex or unit number; and
  • Correct contact telephone number.

Please check this information carefully before completing your order.

If you notice an address error before dispatch, contact Kidsrock immediately.

15. CHANGING A DELIVERY ADDRESS

A delivery address may be changed before dispatch where reasonably possible.

Once an order has been dispatched, Kidsrock cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.

A courier or transport provider may charge an additional amount for rerouting an order.

Any such charge will be communicated where applicable.

16. DELIVERY NOTIFICATIONS

Where available, customers may receive delivery updates by:

  • Email;
  • SMS;
  • WhatsApp;
  • Telephone; or
  • Courier tracking notification.

Tracking availability depends on the delivery provider used.

Large furniture deliveries may be arranged directly with the customer rather than through an automated tracking system.

17. CUSTOMER AVAILABILITY FOR DELIVERY

Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order where a signature, handover or furniture delivery is required.

For large furniture deliveries, Kidsrock or the delivery provider may contact the customer to arrange an appropriate delivery time or delivery window.

Please ensure that the telephone number supplied with the order is correct and accessible.

18. FAILED DELIVERY

A delivery may be considered unsuccessful where, for example:

  • No authorised person is available to receive the order;
  • The customer cannot be contacted;
  • Access to the property is unavailable;
  • An incorrect address was supplied;
  • Security refuses access; or
  • Large furniture cannot reasonably be taken into the premises.

Where a failed delivery results from circumstances within the customer’s control, a reasonable redelivery charge may apply.

Kidsrock will inform the customer of the redelivery arrangements and applicable cost before arranging another delivery.

19. REFUSED DELIVERY

If a customer refuses delivery of an order without a valid defect, damage or incorrect-product reason, the matter may be treated as a return or cancellation.

The applicable Kidsrock Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy will then apply.

Any lawful return transport charges may be deducted or charged where appropriate.

20. CHECKING PRODUCTS ON DELIVERY

Customers are encouraged to inspect their products as soon as reasonably possible after receiving them.

Please check that:

  • The correct product was delivered;
  • The quantity is correct;
  • There is no obvious transport damage; and
  • All expected components are present.

If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Kidsrock as soon as reasonably possible.

21. DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Where possible, photograph:

  • The product;
  • The damaged area;
  • The packaging; and
  • Any visible courier or transport damage.

Send the information together with your order number to:

returns@kidsrockgroup.co.za

Where the product was damaged during a delivery arranged by Kidsrock, we will deal with the matter in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and applicable South African consumer law.

22. INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If you receive a product different from the product ordered, please do not arrange a return at your own cost before contacting Kidsrock.

Contact:

returns@kidsrockgroup.co.za

Kidsrock will provide the appropriate collection or return instructions.

Where Kidsrock supplied the incorrect product, the reasonable cost of returning or collecting it will be borne by Kidsrock.

23. DELAYED DELIVERIES

Delivery dates and times provided by Kidsrock are estimates unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

Delays may occasionally arise because of:

  • Courier delays;
  • Transport disruption;
  • Severe weather;
  • Road closures;
  • High seasonal demand;
  • Manufacturing delays;
  • Supplier delays;
  • Public holidays;
  • Load or infrastructure disruptions; or
  • Other circumstances outside Kidsrock’s reasonable control.

Where Kidsrock becomes aware of a material delay, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.

24. ORDERS NOT DELIVERED WITHIN THE AGREED PERIOD

Kidsrock aims to fulfil orders within the delivery period communicated to the customer.

Under applicable South African electronic-commerce law, where no different period has been agreed, an electronic order must generally be executed within 30 days after receipt of the order.

Custom-made products may have a longer period where the customer and Kidsrock have agreed to a different production or delivery period.

Where Kidsrock fails to execute an electronic order within the applicable statutory or agreed period, the customer retains any cancellation or other rights available under applicable South African law.

25. PRODUCT UNAVAILABLE AFTER ORDER

If Kidsrock is unable to fulfil an order because the product has become unavailable, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible.

Where an appropriate substitute is available, it may be offered to the customer.

The customer is not required to accept a substitute.

If the order cannot be fulfilled and payment has already been received, the applicable refund will be processed in accordance with South African law and our refund procedures.

26. PARTIAL DELIVERIES

An order containing several products may occasionally be delivered in more than one shipment.

Where practical, Kidsrock will advise the customer if an order will be split.

Customers will not be charged an additional delivery fee merely because Kidsrock elects to split an order that was originally charged as one delivery, unless a separate delivery arrangement was agreed with the customer.

27. DELIVERY OF ASSEMBLED AND UNASSEMBLED FURNITURE

Certain products may be delivered:

  • Fully assembled;
  • Partially assembled; or
  • Flat-packed for assembly.

The applicable product description should indicate the expected format where relevant.

Where assembly is not included in the purchase price, the customer is responsible for assembly in accordance with the instructions provided.

Where Kidsrock offers a separate assembly service, applicable charges will be disclosed before that service is agreed.

28. COLLECTION OR DELIVERY OF RETURNS

The transport arrangements for returned products are governed by the Kidsrock Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy.

In general:

Change-of-mind return: The customer is responsible for the direct return transport cost where permitted by law.

Defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied product: Kidsrock will bear the reasonable return or collection cost where required by applicable law.

Please contact us before arranging the return of a large item.

29. RISK DURING DELIVERY

Where Kidsrock arranges delivery, responsibility for the product remains subject to applicable South African consumer law until delivery has been completed.

Customers should report visible transport damage promptly so that Kidsrock can investigate the matter with the relevant delivery provider.

30. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Kidsrock’s standard online delivery service currently applies to South Africa only.

Orders for delivery outside South Africa are not covered by the standard website delivery rates unless Kidsrock expressly agrees to an international order in writing.

Any international delivery arrangement may be subject to separate:

  • Transport charges;
  • Customs requirements;
  • Taxes;
  • Duties; and
  • Delivery conditions.

31. DELIVERY POLICY CHANGES

Kidsrock may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time.

Any updated policy will be published on:

www.kidsrockgroup.co.za

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already available to customers under applicable law.
